Hallo and welcome. My name is Anneize Meyer and I will be the author of our blog. My sister, Karen Smit, and I decided at the end of last year to turn our hobby into a full scale business. That is how 4 Seasons Decor & Crafts was born. Karen worked in a bank for many years but decided in 2012 to quite and do he own thing. I was a Biology / Life Sciences teacher for 10 years but after the birth of my baby girl in 2011 I also decided to do my own thing from home.
After we moved to Jeffreys Bay in July 2012, I told Karen I will start to sell our crafts here and the moment we moved into our own home in September I knew we must open our shop from home. So, on 21 March 2013 we opened our shop. Karen was here for two weeks and business started off slowly but surely. Karen will come to Jeffreys every second or third month to bring stock and also help out. I will run the shop on a daily basis and also do most of the marketing.
